Our office is a comfortable, welcoming environment for patients of all ages. If you are considering orthodontic treatment, we invite you to call our office at 978-369-3690 to schedule a new patient exam with Dr. Orup.
If you elect to proceed with treatment for yourself or your child, we will schedule the appropriate appointments necessary to begin. After appliances are placed, adjustment appointments will be necessary approximately every four to seven weeks, based on your treatment plan and your progress.
New Patient Exam
During this exam, Dr. Orup will evaluate your bite, record bite measurements, discuss whether you or your child is a candidate for orthodontics, and review potential treatment options. There is a small fee for this exam. We also ask that you bring the completed Health Questionnaire with you to this appointment.
Before we provide orthodontic treatment, we need to know your medical and dental history. You can download the adult or child questionnaire here and bring the completed form to your first visit.
Diagnostic Records Appointment
Based on the outcome of the New Patient Exam, Dr. Orup may recommend that you return for a 45-minute Diagnostic Records Appointment. At this time, we will take appropriate radiographs (X-rays), make impressions of your teeth, and take clinical photographs of your face and mouth.
Dr. Orup uses the diagnostic information gathered at your earlier appointments to develop an individualized treatment plan, which he will discuss with you at the Consultation Appointment. At this meeting, he will thoroughly explain his findings, conclusions, and treatment recommendations.
